Meet the Guest

My name is Alex Alatorre, and I am a local death doula, astrologer, and witch. I was born and raised in Mexico City around a really spiritual family. My grandma and I would go to a spiritual center twice a week, where I learned from a young age techniques like meditation, Reiki, tarot, astrology, and various divination methods. In November of 2021, I had an accident that left me with a very strict rehabilitation process that lasted for about 4 months. In 2023, after experiencing the grief of unexpectedly losing my best friend, I began to contemplate the way that we approach death and grieving loved ones. It's from all of these past and recent experiences, combined with my passion for Psychology, Spirituality, and helping people navigate transitions, loss, grief, and hardship, that the idea of Sacred Transitions was born.
